Hello, I'm Marika!
I was born and raised in Canada, but my home and my heart are now in Florida. I'm happily married to my bff Vladimir, and we'reblessed with three adorable babies - Emanuela, Eleanora and Benjamin. They are my most photographed models and the reason I have zero storage space on my phone, haha. I first picked up a camera over 10 years ago and it seems that I haven’t put it down since. I love photographing the genuine and natural moments that can seem rushed and capture a story worth reliving a thousand times.
WHY I NAMED MY BUSINESS
STUDIO WHITE FLOWER
Both my first and last name | Marika Salamakha | are Ukrainian and often tough to pronounce, let alone remember
so I decided to name my business something easy to remember for clients, but also with meaning.
I chose 'White' because my editing style is light and the newborn sessions I do are neutral in color and timeless. I love simple and minimal.
To complete the name I chose 'Flower' . Ever since my eldest daughter first started walking my husband would tell her to pick the daises on our walks and give them to me. Everywhere we went they would find some kind of flower to pick for me. She's 4 years old now and still picks flowers for me and is teaching her little sister to do the same. One thing is for sure our home always has little flowers reminding me of how blessed I am.

FAQ
What is your turn around time for pictures?
Your online proof gallery will be available to view online within a few days. Once all your favorite images have been selected your fully edited images will be available for download within 2 weeks max depending if it's busy season (summer & fall).
Which gear do you use for your sessions?
I'm a canon girl! I use all the latest canon equipment. I love my canon R5 and have 2 of them, one for back up. My favorite lens is the RF 50mm f1.2 and the RF 24-70mm f2.4. There are others in my camera bag but these are the ones I use most often.
When should I reach out about a session or wedding?
My wedding and session dates book up quickly and I only take a set amount of sessions each month to ensure a timely delivery of images so clients can share and announce their happy milestones. So once you have a date and details planned out reach out to me via email or the site.
Do you help with posing?
Not everyone knows exactly what to do and what looks most flattering in pictures and that's okay because that's what I'm here for. I will guide you when/ if needed, it will be relaxed and fun with loads of candid moments also.
Am I able to purchase additional images or prints?
Additional images are currently $10 an image or $150 for the entire fully edited gallery. Prints and albums are also available to purchase upon request.
How long will I be able to access my gallery on your website?
Your gallery will remain on the website for 3 months from the delivery of the gallery. I highly recommend downloading all your images onto a usb or desktop as soon a possible. I do keep them backed up on a hard drive for up to a year just in case.
